Carol's Kitchen is run solely by our hard-working group of volunteers. Our kitchen is open five days a week, with two locations open on Monday and Thursday. We are always seeking dedicated people who are willing to give up their time to help feed and clothe the less fortunate.

Carol's Kitchen has a number of volunteer opportunities available, including:

Cooking

  • Hot meals
  • Salads

Setup

Setting up and taking down tables

Cleanup

  • Dish washing
  • Taking out trash

Serving

Drinks and desserts

Carol's Closet (Clothing Donations)

Sorting and displaying clothing

Behind the Scenes

We are always looking for people to help with deliveries and other work behind the scenes. This type of work can also be done on the weekends.

marys_photoAll of the kitchen volunteers work from about 7 a.m. to 1 p.m. We ask all applicants to be prepared to dedicate him/herself to these hours on a consistent basis.

Carol's Kitchen, Inc. is a Southern California charity feeding the hungry in the San Gorgonio Pass. All kitchen locations are near the 10 freeway, roughly 86 miles east of Los Angeles and 26 miles west of Palm Springs, specifically in the towns of Beaumont, Banning and Cabazon. The only requirement for our guests is that they are hungry. No one is ever turned away.
